Many hinges, especially those from Blum or Hettich, eithe rcome with soft-close built in or sell snap-on additions to their non-softclose hinges. But what if your hinges aren't compatible with any snap-on soft-close units? The best solution is to add a Soft-Close Damper from Blum. It functions just like a clip-on unit, but it is compatible with any self-closing cabinet instead of depending on a particular brand of hinge.
It is important to make sure that your cabinets do have self-closing hinges.If they do not, the doors will not close properly once the damper is installed.

Includes: (1) Damper, (2) Screws and (1) Spacer
Spacer should only be used when using 1" overlay hinge or greater.

For Full Overlay Application: Do not use the spacer, and use the 1 1/4" screw.
For Partial Overlay Application: Use the Spacer and 2" screw.
